Two of the big names in the processing tech sector are about to join forces as Baader acquires a majority stake in Icelandic company Skaginn 3X.

The deal is subject to the usual conditions and approvals Once this has been concluded, a joint sales operation will co-ordinate global sales activities with Baader’s existing infrastructure, integrating the Skaginn 3X sales force. Contacts and responsibilities in sales and distribution at the two companies will remain unchanged until the integration has been completed.

“We are happy to announce this joint venture and look forward to jointly offering our customers an even broader scope of superior solutions over the entire processing line,” Baader´s executive chairwoman Petra Baader.

Skaginn 3X CEO Ingólfur Árnason will remain in his post at Skaginn 3X, supported by the current management team.

“The combination of the long-standing Baader engineering practices and our deep roots and expertise in Icelandic fisheries will boost our joint development and innovation,” he said.
