Baader has announced the opening of its new entity Baader France in Nantes. This entity will serve both the fish and the poultry markets with a joint local sales force and will be supported by a local sales branch in Boulogne-sur-Mer. The establishment of this local Service organisation signals Baader’s commitment to the importance if the French market.

Baader has enjoyed a 50-year co-operation and friendship with Mondial Nanys, established in Boulogne-sur-Mer in 1968, which has been the official and exclusive distributor in France for Baader fish processing equipment. For its poultry customers, Baader has been present with a local subsidiary of LINCO Food Systems since 1999.

The office in Nantes has offered a complete service for the French market, including equipment sales, spare part sales, service and installation. With Baader France, the company is concentrating its activities and reinforces its commitment to the French market.

“The opening of Baader France in Nantes marks a milestone for our company. It represents our ambition to globally join forces across our industry sectors. At the same time, we strengthen our philosophy of being ‘in the region for the region’,” said executive chairwoman Petra Baader.

The new entity will remain in the offices of LINCO France in Nantes and will be led by current general manager Serge Lorenzini. Over the coming three months, Mondial Navys will transfer its activities to Baader France and Mondial Navys staff will be joining the new company once it is fully established. Plans to create more local jobs are set for the near future.

“We are confident in the further development of the French market. With this new entity, we are preparing Baader for future growth in one of the most promising markets in Europe,” Petra Baader said.
