With the creation of DSI Dantech on 1 October, the global food industry has its first partner offering both cryogenic, mechanical and plate technology for freezing, cooling and heating food.

In May 2021, DSI Freezing Solutions acquired Cryogenic Equipment and Services and Dantech Freezing Solutions. The group has now integrated further, announcing a new brand identity including a new logo and name.

“Our contribution to the food industry is offering the right solution for each of our customers,” said Lars Priess, chief executive of DSI Dantech. “We have great experience with all types of thermal treatment – from cryogenic to mechanical and plate technology.”

“The food industry is under increasing pressure to deliver sustainable food,” he continued. “DSI Dantech can play an active role in helping them reach their objectives by reducing energy, water and chemicals usage.

“But we can do more than minimise our customers’ environmental footprint. We can provide guidance and customised solutions that sustain the quality of food, and we can add equipment that help our customers minimise food waste,” he said.

The new name reflects the three already established brands, supporting the history of thermal treatment solutions of the three former units. The visual identity is said to represent the three company values of craftmanship, strong relations and can do-attitude. It also includes a new logo that honours the three former companies.
