Work is in progress on what soon will become Iceberg Seafood’s new sales office in the eastern part of the Port of Hirtshals.

Over time, the company’s offices on Havnegade have become outdated, and Iceberg Seafood is now set to secure its future surroundings in Hirtshals.

Iceberg Seafood has been located in Havnegade for fifteen years, and managing director Jesper Lauritzen is looking forward to moving from the existing premises to new and modern facilities.

“After 15 good years on Havnegade, it is time to replace the old office with one that is more up to date. At the same time, we have chosen to future-proof the new office building so that, in addition to our current employees, it is geared for a possible future expansion of the staff,” he said.

Iceberg Seafood expects to relocate to its new premises in April next year with its five staff. The building will be located on the corner of Niels Juelsvej and Willemoesvej next to the North Sea Oceanarium.

Due to its location, Iceberg Seafood will have great access to port facilities, the railway and the E39 motorway. These are some of the main reasons why the area is very suitable for offices and light industry.

Iceberg Seafood was established as a sales office for shrimp trawlers Steffen C and Regina C. In 2016, Steffen C was replaced by the new Svend C, and in 2018, it was Regina C’s turn to be replaced by a new trawler of the same name. Today, the company primarily sells shrimp production from their own trawlers as well as Greenland halibut and cod, mainly from Greenland, around whole world.
